Images from the Trails The Heritage Trail The start of the Heritage Trail in Clan Gregor Square. From the Square you walk north watching for the blue heritage trail markers. On Main Street there are the historical building that date back to the 1860s. Plaques on the buildings give the historical details. In various locations where there were historical sites but buildings no longer there are sign post giving you the history of the location. The route takes you to Pioneer Park and then down to the beach to the pier. 
Mara Street is an uphill climb from the harbour to Bayfield Terrace. 
East to Louisa Street and past the Catholic Church and back to Clan Gregor Square. First group to the finish on the Heritage Trail, from the Opening Ceremonies and back to the Square.
